Theodore is a slave, but because she looks exactly like princess Shania of decresh she gets a proposal that was supposed to change her life from grass to grace, where she meets Prince Williamson Benjamin, the demon Werewolf who loathes her, thinking she was Shania. Falling in love and getting pregnant wasn't part of the plan at all. But, Theodore is also ramiel's mate, and she can feel it. She's not just any slave actually, she was the reincarnation of the woman who Ramiel had claimed ten thousand years ago. And now everyone wants her, and not just because she has a special blood but because she's the only one remaining of her kind.. What happens when she finally awakens as her true self? Who would she choose...Ramiel, or Leander? Most importantly, who exactly is Prince Williamson? It's a gonna be a long ride...Who's in??
"Don't make me repeat myself. I said LEAVE!!" Liam growled, his voice loud enough to scare Shania, making her jump back away from him.
She was frightened by everything about him.
"B...but..." She began to stutter.
How could he do this to her?? She's the princess of Decresh, beautiful, smart, proud, elegant, and most importantly...she was perfect. But this man, this man that was now her fiancee was speaking to her in a way that made her shake with fear...and made her skin crawl.
He glanced at her. And she could see his silver eyes had began to glow even darker. She already knew what he was...a demon Werewolf.
Her aim was to become the future queen of this kindgom and finally, she was now bethroted to the prince but he was...
He was more than she could handle.
She quickly left his Chambers, quickening her pace heading outside but in less than a second he had already appeared before her, making her gasp as fear engulfed her completely.
"I want to kill you" he said, his voice was soft but deadly at the same time. He grabbed a lock of her hair, and felt it's texture on his hands," And I want to make you scream in pain!" He finished.
"W..wh...what're you..." She was stuttering again!.
"Break this engagement...or else I'll kill you" he added, in a low whisper.
Then...he disappeared. As soon as he did, I breath in as a sign of relief. But the weight still hadn't been taken off my shoulders. I know he's serious when he said he would kill me.
But no, I won't let everything I've done to have him go down in waste. I would hold my head high, and look for a solution. And then become queen, like I've always dreamed of.
"Mum, what do I do?? I can't stand him!" I cried out, pouting as I stared at my mother who hasn't said anything.
"He's...you know he's not human and I don't want to die" I added, remember how he had warned me to break the engagement or else..
It sent chills down my spine.
"You won't die my child" my mum spoke, looking like she was thinking about something then she added," we have to think of a Solution"
"I hope we do, please make it fast before he kills me"
"I won't let that happen!" My dad said, walking into the room.
"Then what do we do darling??" My mum asked, looking at him.
He sighed.
Theodore
I always found myself crying bitterly, like it's become a normal daily activity for me. It's like all the pain in this world had been placed on my head, and I was left to carry all the burden.
I never knew who my parents were and I grew up all alone. A rich woman who called herself Jenna found me, and took me in for herself and I worked for more than five years of my life for her as a slave.
I could see that she despised me everyday of her life with the way she would throw loads of work in my way which would leave all my body aching, or would slap and beat the living daylights out of me whenever I messed up.
I was only ten at that time so what could I do?? I just had to endure it because at least I slept with a roof over my head. Actually I always slept in the stables next to the horses but with time I got used to the rough floor, and the stench of poop everywhere.
Then she sold me off one day. To a rich merchant. He was no different from Jenna as he, his wife and kids would bully and beat the crap out of me whenever they felt like.
I had spent five years with him, and when I turned fifteen or so, he started acting differently sometimes. He'd make immoral suggestions whenever his family weren't around and I'll behave as if I didn't hear him.
Most times it felt sickening with just the way he'd stare at me whenever we were alone.
And one day in the middle of the night when his wife had travelled, and I was sleeping on the floor under the stairs, I felt a presence and quickly opened my eyes.
He had tried to rape me that day. And I had barely escaped with bruises all over my body and ran for my life. I never returned again.
Living for the next seven years alone and always running for my dear life, having nothing to eat for almost a week and would finally find something on the floor and gobble it up, I found out that the world was actually also selfish and cruel.
I'd look down at my torn and ragged dirty clothes and tears would instantly stream down my eyes. If remember all the insults I've received from everyone and that would make me cry even more.
Why?? Why do I have to live like this?? Who are my parents?? Why did they abandon me?? Didn't they want me??
Love...No one loves me, and would probably never will. I'll always be running for my life won't I?? I'll always be crying won't I?? I'll always he crying and roaming round the streets till I finally give up and die won't I??
But faith seems to have a different case for me because the time I tried to kill myself by jumping off a high building, I woke up and found myself still alive, and I wondered how I had gotten there.
It still baffles me till this day.
Storm clouds gathered quickly across the sky and the day changed into night. Thunder rumbled and lightening flashed.
The first rain of the summer.
I didn't move an inch, and just stood there as the rain started falling, beating and running down my body. You know, I've always thought my life was that of a fairytale, but standing here all alone...being all alone for twenty two years, I finally realized there's no such thing as love.
No such thing as a fairytale.
At least not for me.
I was always meant to be alone. This rain was meant to beat the hell out of me, it wasn't meant to wash away my tears.
I didn't know for how long I stood there. Maybe all day, or all night because the sun was already shining and people was moving about.
Some stared at me while others just ignored me. People like me had no right, say, or anything at all in this world.
I was still walking, not knowing where I was coming from nor where I'm going. I'll just go to wherever the day took me, cry out my eyes like I always do, and when I'm too weak I'd faint somewhere, wake up after someone splashes some water on my face and rains insults on me for sleeping at the door of their home or rather, at the back.
And I'd get up and continue walking.
I began to hear the sound of horse legs as they huffed, and it sounded like there were lots of them. Oh no, I hope it's not what I'm thinking.
It's either it's those thirsty men who would send out warriors to find and kidnap young ladies like me who they would use to fulfill their sexual needs and desires, or secondly...
A war.
But when I looked up, I breath in in relief. It was neither one of them. There were about theirty horsemen, and then a carriage with someone obviously inside. I began to wonder who she was, must be from a royal family or something.
I could see the shadow of the person and the head turned towards my direction. I ought to quickly look away but it didn't matter, even if she saw me she would just ignore me like the rest.
That was enough reason for me to look away.
But then the unexpected happened.
"Stop this carriage at once!" A female voice ordered from inside the carriage, and immediately everyone stopped.
I wanted to see what would happen in even know why she stopped the carriage but instead I continued my way, minding my business.
"You!!" She called someone.
"Stop right there!" She commanded in an authorative tone and I just had to turn around for a moment to see who she was referring to only to find out that she was walking towards me.
She was dressed in a black beautiful dress, adorned with while glistening stones. The arm of the dress was short but made with another thing I've never seen before.
She had a crown on her head, and her skin was glowing...and her brown hair flowed down her back.
She was looking magnificent...and was definitely royalty.
She stopped right in front of me, and damn she smelt heavenly.
She looked at me intently, her eyes running around my face. Some of my hair had covered my face and she frowned.
"Raise your hair up. I want to see your face clearly" she ordered.
I'd better obey her or else she might...
I shifted my hair away from my face, and then she gasped. Her eyes flew wide open as she kept staring at me...her mouth agape.
What has gotten her all surprised??
Her face then changed from utterly shocked to delight, pure delight and her lips curved and formed a sly smile. Her eyes twinkling with happiness.
"You're coming with me!" She finally said.
I swallowed," Why??" I asked, my voice coming out cracked
"Because" she paused for a moment then continued," I'm about to change your life forever!"
